Lessons

Hayley with Davin(Fjord) and Josie on Ginger at the 4H youth Horse show last photo is a "mock Horse show" at

FCF which we do each month in the summer. And in the winter, we hold a dressage schooling show in the indoor for our lesson kids.

I have passed on my lesson program to Tracey Crowley.

Tracey gives lessons to children and adults who have beginner to intermediate skills. Disciplines include dressage, huntseat, trail, beginner jumping along with horsemanship.

Tracey teaches pleasure riding with a lot of dressage principles. You will be able to go into the show ring or down the trail when you take lessons with Tracey.

I still teach a riding lesson once in a while and do give some basic driving lessons from time to time.

We pride ourselves on safety. Having very safe and reliable lesson horses/ponies.We work right from the start on how to safely handle and ride a horse.

ASTM/SEI approved helmets are required for everyone under the age of 18 and are strongly suggested for those 18 and older. Sturdy shoes or boots with heels suitable for riding (no sneakers or sandals!) are also required.

Lessons -$30.00 an hour /additional $5 for use of lesson horse

When Tracey has the time, she may travel to your farm to give a lesson if you live in the local area. Please add $10-$20.00 per lesson to the prices listed above.

STUDENTS

Some of my students have qualified for the WI State 4-H Horse show and received Top Tens. Some have received year end awards at local open horse shows, many have received either first place trophies and/or placings at local open horse shows, youth shows and the county fair. You do not have to be "into" going to horse shows, you can take lessons and just enjoy horse back riding!

Lesson kids of mine were 4H State winners, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007

One of them was Lucas with Tuesday
